“See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root

out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”

Week 1: Uprooting and Tearing Down

Day 1: Root Out Pride

Scripture: James 4:6 “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Reflection: Pride can hide in comparison, control, jealousy or defensiveness.

Prayer: “God, show me where pride is blocking Your work in me.”

Application: Pause and make space for Jesus to speak (John 10:27). Write

down one area where you struggle with pride. Ask God to help you release it.
